Advertising is a very lucrative business and Google does not want to lose its piece of the pie. And the truth is that lately it is going a bit with its ads. Although it seems that it is not going to stop, according to the last leak that shows the next design of Google Play, the Android application store, and that very soon it will have more advertising than ever.
A few months ago the Reddit forums were filled with complaints about a change on google tv, Google’s operating system for smart TVs, and which included much more invasive advertising than before.
At the moment it was a pilot test that affected a limited number of users, but seeing that something similar is happening in Google Play, everything indicates that the big G wants to stitch us to ads.
The new design of Google Play will have more visible ads
Or this is what emerges from the latest publication of the fellow Android Policeand where we can see the new design that will have Google Play Store. And you’re not going to like it at all.
we don’t know if this new design has reached a very limited group of usersbut it is beginning to be seen and the truth is that the new interface has a few substantial changes.

Mostly in the “suggestions for you” section and where there are many more ads than in the previous version. Before the change, the section offered only one row of apps, showing a maximum of three apps at a time.
With this new style, we see that there will now be two rows of recommendations, with the thumbnail of the app enlarged, dedicating more space on the screen to the ads section.
In this way, Google gets more visibility of the ads at the expense of go down a row the recommended applications, causing us to lose more time to access them.
As we have indicated, this new version of Google Play Store with more ads is appearing to users randomly, so everything points to an experiment by Google. But everything indicates that, sooner rather than later, this new design loaded with advertising will arrive.
Something logical in part. More if one takes into account that Manufacturers like Vizio have recognized that they earn more money from advertising their televisions than from the sales of these equipment. And it is one of the top five manufacturers in Asia.
So, like it or not, advertising is here to stay. And, as we’ve said before, Google isn’t going to lose its piece of the pie.
